    •    Pool Closures: Early closures for home swim meets & possible closures due to inclement weather.

 

Pool Rules:

1. Swimmers must wear a bathing suit. No cut-off or gym shorts.
2. Clothing must be worn outside the pool to and from the parking lot, and in the Clubhouse.
3. Picnic lunches and coolers are not permitted. Food and drinks may be purchased from the pool concession stand or from the clubhouse.
4. No glass containers in the pool area.
5. Breaks will take place every hour on the hour and will last 15 minutes. Adults 18 years and older may swim during the breaks.
6. Parents are responsible for their own children. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
7. Lounge chairs are for the use of adults.
8. All members and guests must sign in to enter the pool area.
9. Non-toilet trained children must wear swim diapers.
10. Diaper changes should be done in the lockerrooms.

Conduct In The Pool Area

1. Running will not be permitted.
2. Horseplay…shoving, dunking, chicken fights…will not be permitted.
3. The game of tag is restricted to the boundaries of the pool. 

Main Pool Area

1. Diving is permitted in the deep end and diving well only.
2. Diving entries into the pool must be in a forward manner.
3. Swimmers may not use the starting blocks except during swim team practice and swim meets.
4. Fins and masks are not permitted in the pool. Goggles that cover the eyes only are permitted.
5. No water wings or inflatables are allowed. Floatation belts are provided by ECC.
6. Swimmers should not talk to lifeguards while on duty.

Diving Board

1. Swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool to go off the diving board.
2. Diving entries must be of the forward manner. No spinning, inwards, or back entries.
3. Only one bounce is permitted.
4. Only one on the board at a time.
5. Swimmers must go straight off the board.
6. Swimmers must exit the area after entry.

Baby Pool

1. Swimmers must be 5 years old or younger.
2. There are no lifeguards to attend the baby pool. Adults must accompany small children into this area. 
3. No inflatable floats or water wings
4. No running.
5. No diving.
6. Use caution when entering the pool.

Guest Fees Members must sign all of their guests in. $5.00 will be charged per guest.
